Avocado toast in 3 delicious varieties! Make these Mediterranean, Caprese and a twist on the classic egg on avocado toast recipes for a healthy breakfast or snack.
When the toast is golden brown, remove from the toaster and drizzle the toast with olive oil.
Scoop the avocado meat out of the avocado and place it on the toast. Use a fork to smash the avocado with a fork and evenly spread the avocado smash out on the toast.
Spread the thinly sliced red onion over the avocado and sprinkle the za’atar seasoning and feta over the avocado.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the avocado toast and enjoy.
Caprese Avocado Toast
Place a piece of sourdough bread in the toaster.
Remove the toast from the toaster when golden brown.
Slice the avocado into 3-4 slices. Place one avocado slice on the very edge of the toast, then place a slice of tomato layered over the avocado, followed by a slice of mozzarella. Repeat until the toast is layered with avocado, tomato, and mozzarella (how many slices of each ingredient used varies by how big your slice of bread is).
Drizzle all of the ingredients with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Top with fresh basil and enjoy.
Egg on Avocado Toast
Bring a small pot of water to a boil.
Soft boil the egg by adding it to the water and boil for 7 minutes.
While the egg is cooking, place sourdough in the toaster and toast until golden brown.
When the egg is done, run the egg under cold water and carefully peel the shell of the egg. Set the egg aside.
Drizzle olive oil over the toast and then smash the avocado on the toast with a fork.
Place cheddar cheese on top of the avocado and then set the soft boiled egg on top of the cheese and cut it in half.
Sprinkle the everything bagel seasoning over the toast and enjoy.
