- ¾ cup turbinado sugar
- 1 large lemon
- 1 cup water
- 8 oz. gin
- ½ cup lavender simple syrup
- 5 cups ice
- 8-10 oz. champagne
Wet the top of four glasses roll the top of each glass in turbinado sugar and set aside.
Blend the lemon and water together in a high-powered blender. Blend until completely smooth.
Pour the lemon mixture through a fine sieve, using a spoon to assist the mixture through the sieve.
Pour the sieved liquid back into the blender and add the gin, syrup, and ice.
Blend on high until the mixture is thick and frothy.
Pour the slush into 4 separate glasses and top with champagne.
Garnish with a lemon and enjoy.
- The flavor of this cocktail will depend on the type of gin used. We suggest using a milder gin.
- We prefer a tart French 75, if you would like a sweeter cocktail, add more simple syrup.
