Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh green beans trimmed (~3 cups)
  • cup Italian dressing separated
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons slivered almonds toasted

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the green beans and half of the Italian dressing to pan. Season with salt and cook the beans until tender, about 5 minutes.

  • Remove the pan from the heat and add the remaining dressing and Dijon mustard. Toss to coat.

Notes

  • Grandma Ginny made this recipe with Kraft Italian dressing. We used Brianna brand Italian dressing. Feel free to use your favorite brand.
  • This recipe would be delicious topped with shredded parmesan cheese.
  • Every Italian dressing is different, so be sure to taste test the beans and salt and paper to taste if needed.
