- 1 lb. fresh green beans trimmed (~3 cups)
- ⅓ cup Italian dressing separated
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons slivered almonds toasted
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the green beans and half of the Italian dressing to pan. Season with salt and cook the beans until tender, about 5 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and add the remaining dressing and Dijon mustard. Toss to coat.
Top with toasted almonds and serve immediately.
- Grandma Ginny made this recipe with Kraft Italian dressing. We used Brianna brand Italian dressing. Feel free to use your favorite brand.
- This recipe would be delicious topped with shredded parmesan cheese.
- Every Italian dressing is different, so be sure to taste test the beans and salt and paper to taste if needed.
