Servings: 1
- 1 earl grey tea bag
- 1/2 cup hot water about 150ºF
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar* or to taste
- 1/2 cup milk any kind
Place the tea bag in a bowl or mug. Add the hot water and sugar.
Allow the tea to steep for 3-4 minutes depending on how strong you like your latte. Stir occasionally to dissolve the sugar.
While the tea steeps, use a milk steamer to steam your milk of choice.
If your tea isn't in a mug already, transfer it to a mug. Top with the steamed milk. Enjoy!
- Sweetener: Feel free to replace the granulated sugar with maple syrup instead.
- Large Batch (serves 6): Place 6 earl grey tea bags and 2 tablespoons of sweetener into a large jar. Pour in 3 cups of hot water. Let the tea steep for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. When the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags and pour evenly into 6 mugs. Steam 3 cups of milk in batches in a milk steamer or all at once in a small saucepan on the stovetop. Top each mug with steamed milk and enjoy!
